Avocet™ Brand Aquatic Glyphosate Added to
Phoenix Environmental Care LLC Product Line
Valdosta, GA— Avocet™ Aquatic Herbicide is the newest addition to the growing
line of aquatic products from Phoenix Environmental Care LLC.
“Avocet is formulated with 53.8 percent glyphosate as the active ingredient to
insure outstanding, post-emergent control of a variety of aquatic and non-crop
site weeds,” says Craig Smith, Aquatic Business Manager for Phoenix
Environmental Care LLC. “A systemic, broad-spectrum herbicide, Avocet will
control cattail, grassy weeds like torpedo grass, woody plants like trees and
brush, many floating plants and other aquatic weeds.”
Smith says Avocet will carry a “caution” signal word and has no watering,
swimming or fishing restrictions following applications. The product may be
applied aerially, by boat, backpack or most conventional application methods.
