GoldWing™ Plant Growth Regulator the
Latest Addition to the Phoenix Environmental Care LLC Product Line
Valdosta, GA— Goldwing™ PGR is the latest
addition to the expanding line of products from Phoenix Environmental Care LLC.
Goldwing is a Type III plant growth regulator that works by inhibiting the
formation of gibberellic acid.
“Goldwing contains trinexapac-ethyl,” says Rick Grant, Director of Business
Development for Phoenix Environmental Care LLC. “Not only does Goldwing promote
root mass development, but it also increases lateral stem growth while, at the
same time, it also inhibits vertical stem growth,” says Grant.
Grant says Goldwing can be an integral tool for pre-stress conditioning and
regular use of this product can provide greatly improved turf quality. “In
addition, this product can be used on both warm and cool season turf,” he says.
Goldwing will be available in a low-odor, 2lb MEC formulation that stays clear
in suspension. The product will be available in most areas by June 1st, and will
be offered in cases of 2-by-1-gallon containers.
